Since 1912, Lottie Shaw’s family have been baking delicious treats in the heart of Yorkshire, creating a legacy rooted in tradition, quality, and authentic flavours. What began with two determined sisters in the early 20th century has blossomed into a beloved family-run business, known across the UK for its dedication to the unmistakable taste of Yorkshire.
The story begins with Mary and Edith Harrison, Lottie’s great aunts, who started selling regional specialties from their humble bakery in the Yorkshire Pennines. Their delicious bakes quickly became treasured family favourites. Passed down through three generations, these traditional recipes culminated in the launch of the Lottie Shaw’s brand.
Honouring her great aunts' legacy, Lottie's seriously good baking has earned seven Great Taste Awards. Not to mention, Lottie Shaw's was also crowned as the ‘Official Taste Of Yorkshire’ in 2018.

In 2018, Lottie opened a state-of-the-art bakery, just a few miles from where her great aunts’ bakery once stood. Here, Lottie Shaw’s combine sustainable practices with traditional baking methods. Embodying a philosophy known as 'scratch baking', Lottie ensures that each product is crafted from quality ingredients with the utmost care.
Lottie Shaw's impeccable quality comes from using only the finest local ingredients, sourced from other artisan producers nearby. Lottie's oatmeal, for example, comes from one of England’s oldest family-run mills, based in Yorkshire. Their flour is also milled locally, and the oil is sourced from Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil, a fellow award-winning producer.
This dedication to using local ingredients strengthens ties within the Yorkshire community - keeping the region’s rich culinary heritage alive.
