Developed in collaboration with renowned chef and writer Hari Ghotra and her husband, Jeremy, Naan Laager is more than just a beverage - it’s a culinary adventure in a bottle.
The journey to creating Naan Beer was one of passion and commitment to sustainability. It all began one summer's day at a festival in Reigate, where Hari Ghotra's cooking demonstration sparked the idea to brew beer from unsold naan bread.
Armed with hundreds of kilos of wonky naans, Crumbs Brewery embarked on a journey of experimentation, guided by Hari’s expert advice.
The secret ingredient? The humble Nigella seed. These tiny black seeds add a fresh, peppery and aromatic twist, giving the beer a deliciously refreshing and floral finish.
Inspired by the flavours of Indian cuisine and the desire to make a difference, Naan Beer is the perfect 'curry house' lager and a refreshing accompaniment to spicy foods and cosy curry nights.
