Do you focus enough on self-care, wellbeing and relaxation? At hampers.com, we think taking your own wellness seriously, as well as that of others, is very important. However, it can be hard to know what to do, or how.
Whilst we love a good pamper or self-care session, we also know that wellness and well-being starts from the inside out. This is why we carefully select great tasting products in our wellbeing hampers that can help support any wellbeing goals or aims.
Let us tell you more about wellness teas, their benefits and why taking a moment to enjoy a warm drink (that is also good for you) is vital... and forms a great wellness gift hamper item, too.
Take moment, slow down and enjoy the read.
The importance of wellness moments
We think that taking a moment to ourselves is so important, especially when life feels extra busy.
We also love the idea of supporting others' wellness, including sending special gifts and hand-packed hampers that are designed to support wellbeing, pampering and moments of self-care.
So often we have to be told to stop, or just slow down, don't we?
Wellness tea - A whole lot of goodness in a cuppa
Unfortunately, whilst we all known the importance of taking care of ourselves, for both our physical and mental health, it can be really difficult.
However, we feel we may have the perfect solution for you and for you to share with friends and family.
Have you heard of wellness teas?
There are several different types of wellness teas. These teas are usually made from a mix of herbs, and can be beneficial to your wellbeing.
Penn Medicine states, "Numerous studies have shown that a variety of teas may boost your immune system, fight off inflammation, and even ward off cancer and heart disease.". Take a look at their article The Hidden Health Benefits of Tea (2019) for more information and evidence.
It is important to clarify that herbal teas are different from traditional black teas, like the English breakfast tea.
As Harvard Health Publishing explains, in their article, The health benefits of 3 herbal teas, "Herbal teas are made from tisanes, which are blends or infusions of dried fruits, flowers, spices or herbs in water. Tisanes have been shown to offer medicinal effects.".
These benefits certainly sound good to us. And, whilst we're not medical experts, the thought of being able to help our wellness by popping on the kettle, grabbing a mug and choosing a wellness tea, instead of our usual cuppa, certainly sounds achievable.

The tea itself actually has a beautiful light silver colour, showing the natural, herbal blend of this botanical hot brew.
The taste of the tea matches its beautiful aromas. Alongside the spiciness of the cinnamon, you can also taste the refreshing peppermint and bold liquorice as part of the well-balanced combination.
Sleepy me
This is a special bedtime blend, designed to promote rest and relaxation. The herbal blend includes chamomile, lavender, valerian and hop leaves. It also adds a citrusy hint of lemon balm to each sip. A perfect wellness tea to try if you enjoy a cup of Earl Grey.
When brewed, a mug steaming with calming, subtle floral scents will be created. The combination of flowers, herbs and roots also gives the blend an aromatic and spicy touch.
Try this tea to help you feel more relaxed before going to bed. Perhaps it could be part of your new 2025 sleep routine.
Pure me
This tea is all about making you feel better from the inside out. It is a sweet and refreshing mint tea, blended with soothing herbs and spices. It is also caffeine-free.
You'll know you have this tea brewing thanks to its aromatic, herbacious smell. Alongside the mint, take a moment to savour the flavours of fennel seeds, rosemary, marigold and elderflower. They are well-balanced and truly delightful when you take a big deep breath and inhale.

Shape me

The smooth smell of cinnamon is really comforting. However, this tea is also good for your health - featuring green tea and ingredients full of antioxidants. Cinnamon, ginger and acai berries together offer spice, smooth sweetness and a hint of acidity.
This is a great tea for any time of day - helping you to do an small act of self-care, little and often.
Youthful me
Finally, we have to introduce this wellness tea... eternal youth is perhaps within our grasp?
We joke, but the Youthful Me tea offers rejuvenating sea buckthorn and sweet berries for a nutritious, caffeine-free cuppa.
It has rich, dark red colour, with a fresh and fruity scent, that will really give you a boost. The combination between the hibiscus, rosehip and the berries make this tea flowery, light and smooth.
